Love Rain Press creates warm and uplifting prints for home and office.
Founded by Vancouver designer / artist Maria Roth, Love Rain Press will be participating at the spring edition of First Pick Handmade. Come by and support Canadian artists and designers! Sunday Mar 16, 2025, 11-5 at Heritage Hall, 3102 Main (at 15th), Vancouver.
“ I am always drawing, doodling, and taking pictures.
“Love Rain Press began with a series of community art projects - on co-op housing, gardens and the future of neighbourhoods - in 2023. I was inspired by the team of incredible women I was working with - Dolores, Clara, Sarah, Michele, Renske - to create five prints of my own in support of important changemaking work. Unable to felt wool for my textile practice during this time, those initial five prints quickly blossomed into dozens.
“I have found a really good Canadian art print specialist to work with, and am excited to be launching a new creative business in early 2025. I hope my art can create moments of warmth and optimism in people’s everyday lives, and function as positive visual anchors for future community and collective well being.”
